*TRAIN DEPOT COMMUNITY CENTER – painstakingly restored into the Holly Springs Community Center, it serves as a source of immense civic pride for local residents. The Depot is a central fixture of the downtown area as a gathering location. The Depot is rented out to the community for a wide variety of functions ranging from wedding and baby showers, birthday parties and local civic groups.
*BARRETT PARK – is Holly Springs' first major recreational area. It features a playground and a walking trail, which meanders through a scenic natural area. The 13-acre park is conveniently located.
*JC MULLINS FIELD – is a regulation sized baseball field, which is home to several area teams. Surrounding the ball field is a walking trail, "tot lot," and picnic pavilion. JC Mullins Field is located off Holly Springs Parkway in Holly Springs.
*AUTUMN FEST – is a fun filled festival day for you and your family. Come join The City of Holly Springs in celebrating the fall season. shop with local crafters and businesses showcasing their goods, children's activities, entertainment and food.
*CHRISTMAS PARADE – is held in Holly Springs. Celebrate the holiday season with Holly Springs on the first Saturday in December.
*CHEROKEE COUNTY FAIR- Family fun at the fair, featuring livestock, shows, carnival rides, games and more. Takes place in the second full week in September, at the Fair Grounds in Canton.
*CHEROKEE GOLD - Marker noting small placer mines extending southwesterly across the county and included the Sixes Nine, worked earlier by the Cherokee. After the 1860's, most gold mining operations in the county slowed or ceased. Located at the Historic Courthouse.
*CRESCENT FARM HISTORICAL CENTER - Restored rock barn, once home to world-class racehorses, is now headquarters of the Cherokee County Historical Society. The Center is on the National Register of Historic Properties. 770-345-3288
*FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS - Artists, music, food, a youth art exhibit, and a hands-on area for children in Brown Park, Canton. Third weekend in May 10 am-5 pm. Presented by the Cherokee County Arts Council. 770-704-6244.
*INDIAN FESTIVAL & MOTHER'S DAY POW WOW - Experience Native American entertainment, arts and crafts, music and food. Takes place Mother’s Day weekend at Boling Park in Canton. 770-735-6275.
